Privacy notice for the beta page
This page explains what happens to what you send with the beta form.
Who we are
For now KBalance is a personal project run by one developer, not a company. Whoever reads your request and answers you at beta@kalias.org is that person.
What we keep
- Your name, your email address and your answer about what you use today.
- When you sent the request, and whether it was approved or rejected.
- To stop repeated requests, a keyed hash of your IP address (never the address itself), deleted after a day.
Why
Only to decide on your request, to email you an invite or tell you that you are in, and to answer you if you write to us. No newsletters, no advertising, and we never sell or share your details.
No access to your wallets
KBalance never connects to your crypto wallets in any way. It never asks for a seed phrase, a private key, a wallet connection or a signature, and it cannot move your funds. To follow a wallet in the app you paste its public address, and KBalance only reads public blockchain data about that address. The beta form asks for nothing about your wallets.
In the app, the public addresses you add are sent to the services that read blockchain data: Alchemy and Socket for balances and history, Morpho and Merkl for yield positions and rewards (not when you turn Show Yield off). DefiLlama gives the token prices and receives only token addresses, never yours. None of them gets your name or email.
Who handles it
The form runs on Cloudflare, which also checks that you are a person (Cloudflare Turnstile) and sends our emails. Requests are stored with the KBalance server on Google Cloud and its database on Neon, both in the United States.
How long
Until the beta ends or until you ask us to delete it. If you create an account, the app keeps your account data as long as the account exists.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we keep about you at any time: write to beta@kalias.org.
This page sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare Turnstile may use what it needs to tell people from bots.
